This is Saudi Arabia's new mega-city of the future. This video will take a look at the Saudi city of NEOM and its three unique regions: The Line, Oxagon, and Trojena. 

In 2021, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman announced the country's ambitions to develop The Line, a smart linear metropolis built vertically with no roads or automobiles and powered entirely by renewable energy. 

The Line is the centerpiece of NEOM: a vertical 3D metropolis that is self-sufficient and uses as little space as possible. The metropolis is 200 meters (656 feet) broad, but 500 meters (1,640 feet) tall and 170 kilometers (105 miles) long.  It can also house up to 9 million people and will be a futuristic metropolis.  

Oxagon is NEOM's industrial metropolis, powered by artificial intelligence and self-driving cars. Finally, Trojena: NEOM's Mountains. Trojena is a luxury mountain metropolis that will offer skiing, leisure, and entertainment, as well as a massive man-made lake named The Vault.

The $500 billion Neom mega-city project is being created in Saudi Arabia's Tabuk Province.
