• The Courage to Go at Your Own Pace
    Jun 11 2025

You’ve been told that to be “successful,” you have to do life a certain way.

Grind. Hustle. Move to the next project. Do it all over again.

But during last week’s Strategic Planning for Life live session, one powerful truth grounded the entire conversation:

“We must unwind from those stories so that we may step into what’s possible… in our own time and at our own pace.”

You don't have to go slow. Your natural pace could be fast and bold. Just as long as it's natural for you.

There's so much freedom in that.

This resonated deeply — because it is possible. Even if fear or scarcity says otherwise.

There are leaders out there who offer space for you to be a whole human.

There are businesses you can build that support your life rather than consume it.

There is money outside of the grind.

And there are people who love you for you — your pace, your process, your presence — not your performance.

The world doesn’t need more unhinged hustle.

It needs more people living with intention, grounded in their values, and bold enough to move through life aligned.

Today's member post guides you to discover your natural pace and ignites movement in that most authentic flow.

  • Let Your Ideas Be Absurd (…and Let Them Be Real)
    Jun 5 2025

We’re wrapping up another round of our 9-week Guide Training and Strategic Planning for Life Live Sessions. Every time we do, I’m left shaking my head at what unfolds.

    Jobs changed.
    Businesses launched.
    Relationships evolved.
    Houses remodeled.
    Trips booked.
    Healing ignited.
    Peace returned.

    In just 9 weeks.

It’s not magic. But it is something close.

It happens because these individuals allow it to happen. They don’t just show up to check a box—they show up open. Willing. Brave enough to imagine absurd things and take small steps toward making them real.

And I’ll tell you what—we’ve never seen it not work when someone commits to possibility.

That’s the foundation of the Absurd List. It’s a simple practice inside our framework, and it changes everything. We're covering it in this week's Live Session and the member post below.

A question to ponder this week:

If you could do ANYTHING in the next 12 months, dreaming with possibility, what would it be?

  • Designing your next chapter of life
    May 28 2025

Every chapter of life has both energy DRIVES and energy DRAINS.

The key is learning how to work with both.

We just wrapped a powerful live session inside our UNLOCKED Community, where we explored how to stop resisting what drains us—and instead use it as data to design what’s next.

    Here’s the mindset shift:

Don’t just try to escape what you don’t want.
Get clear on what you do want—and move toward that.

This week’s post shares how to identify what’s fueling you, what’s depleting you, and how to start crafting your next chapter from a place of clarity and confidence.

  • What are you willing to change for your health?
    May 21 2025

Lately, in my own quest for health answers, I've observed a pattern with people, specifically women, facing mysterious or persistent health issues.

    They’re all high-functioning. Thoughtful. Disciplined. Self-aware.

They move their bodies. They nourish their families. They lead in their work. They have supportive partnerships.

    And yet, something’s breaking down.

In nearly every case—including my own—the common thread I've found in every potential diagnosis isn’t just age or genetics. It’s stress. But not just stress from “a lot going on.” We’re talking decades of performance. Years of pushing. A lifetime of being “on.”

It’s like we’ve been conditioned to carry the world, and our bodies are finally saying, “I can’t do this anymore.”

We were never meant to move at this pace. We were never meant to feel like the world would fall apart if we slowed down.

But now? The price is showing up in symptoms, discomfort, and a body that no longer responds the way it used to.

What if the health issues we’re facing aren’t random—or just “part of getting older”—but the cumulative effect of a lifestyle we were never meant to sustain?

    As the saying goes...

You can have 1000 problems in your life until you have a health problem. Then you only have one.

This week’s post is about the quiet consequences of decades of stress, performance and pushing through. And the lifestyle design shifts that are sometimes the only real way forward.

  • The Power in Choosing Not to Carry It All
    May 14 2025

Last Friday, I guided hundreds of women through a grounding visualization at the Fill Your Cup event. Something we do each week here in these emails.

    The imagery was simple:

Imagine each of your responsibilities as grocery bags you’re carrying. Not one at a time, but all at once—arms aching, fingers strained.

Then, visualize yourself setting them down—just for the day.

    The reactions were powerful.

One woman shared her deep gratitude for just ten minutes of restful peace (she also shared she has five kids).

Another woman at my table said something that’s stuck with me since:

“I didn’t want to put the bags down… because I knew I’d have to pick them back up.”

    The whole table nodded.

    I responded curiously:

“Maybe we don’t have to pick all of them back up?”

    More nodding.

In today's member email, we're exploring the art of knowing what to put down. And more importantly, how and when to let go.

  • Reinvention or realignment: Which one do you actually need?
    Apr 30 2025

If life feels heavier lately, you're not imagining it. And it's not just you.

There's a weight moving through the world right now. An undercurrent of uncertainty, agitation, exhaustion.

Over the past few weeks, we've noticed an increase of conversations around relationship strain and career transition.

Here's what I think is happening — the weight of the current economic and global climate is weighing on everyone. I liken it to early in the COVID Pandemic lockdown when everything felt unknown, things were changing constantly, and fear was in the air.

When moments like this happen, there can be a lot of upending that follows suit. When unknowns, fear and collective agitation take over, we unknowingly reach to change something we can "control" to release the pressure.

Careers and relationships are easy to grasp. Difficult but most tangible to change.

Here's the thing...change is good. Leaning into it is a great strategy. But without pause, reflection and awareness, it's easy to change the wrong thing.

When everything feels unsettled, it’s easy to think you need to blow it all up — the job, the relationship, the routine.

But sometimes, it’s not a full reinvention that’s needed.

    It’s a gentle realignment.

A coming back to what matters most.

This week’s reflection invites you to slow down and ask yourself:

What am I actually designing my decisions around?
    Is it survival? Achievement? Fear?
Or something deeper, truer, and more lasting?

  • What would your future self be grateful you prioritized today?
    Apr 16 2025

What if the answers to the biggest challenges you’ve been facing aren't “out there”—but within you?

So many of the challenges we face—anxiety, burnout, disconnection, hopelessness, confusion—can’t be fixed with a single solution.

But over the last decade, we’ve found that the practice of Intentional Lifestyle Design consistently guides us to the answers that unlock more relief, clarity, and necessary change than any other solution.

This week’s post is about why getting to know yourself—deeply—is one of the most vital things you can do for yourself and those in your life, especially in the current state of the world.

And why Strategic Planning for Life is the tool that keeps working for us and many others, again and again.

A simple question to get you started...

What would your future self—10 years from now—be grateful you prioritized today?

  • When you can’t see the path—go for the walk anyway
    Apr 9 2025

Ever feel like you’re in the fog?

Like you can’t see the way forward—no matter how hard you try to figure it out?

That was me this past week. Mentally overloaded. Sick with sick kids. Emotionally done. Physically spent. The pressure to perform was louder than my own inner wisdom.

The to-dos were piling up, and I couln't keep up. I snapped at Phil. I ached from the overwhelm. I was not being the version of myself I desire to be.

So I got up the next day and did one thing that never makes logical sense but always brings me back to clarity:

    I went for the walk.

I didn't run. I didn't even pressure myself to walk fast.

I just chose the trail over the task list.

I moved my body instead of pushing through the inbox.

And in that movement—quiet, simple, slow—the answers began to emerge. The path forward began to take shape.

Not from my logical thinking but from a deep knowing.

Feeling is a form of seeing. What might emerge if you allowed yourself to tap into your intuition instead of just your intellect?

This week’s member post is about being in the fog. It's about burnout, pressure, uncertainty—and what happens when we release the grip and let our intuitive wisdom lead.
