If you love the King, you will love His Kingdom. The King’s embassies here on earth are every local church where His beauty and message are exalted. As a follower of the King, connected to one of His embassies, that makes you an ambassador. This is what meaningful membership is all about – an invested ambassador living under the authority of the King in His church serving for the glory of the Kingdom. We pray Redeemer is a faithful embassy filled with invested ambassadors.

What motivates Christians to care for the vulnerable? We explore how sacrificial care flows not from guilt or obligation, but from the love of Christ and the truth that every person is created in the image of God. Through Scripture, personal stories, and the example of Jesus, this sermon calls believers to embrace a life of compassion, justice, and courageous service to those who are hurting.

All too often we approach others with a spirit of selfishness, and that can also be the way we approach God in prayer. What can He do for me? How can I get what I need? When will the bad stuff of life be turning into the good stuff? But what if prayer is less about the stuff and the circumstances and more about the Person Himself? The Psalmist models the kind of prayer that seeks the face of God with a singular priority. If we seek His hand for what He gives, we will almost certainly miss His face. But in seeking the face of God we get His hand too, because He loves to give good gifts to his children.
