This week on Random Fandom, our random football journey takes us from the Premier League to League One and the National League as we follow Bournemouth, Wigan, and Aldershot Town.

We spent the week keeping an eye on all three clubs, following their results and finding out what life looks like from the perspective of fans supporting teams at very different levels of English football.

The highlight of this week's episode is our chat with Bruce, who joins us to share his story as an Aldershot Town fan.

We find out how Bruce first became a supporter of the Shots, the highest high he has experienced following the club, and the lowest low that every football fan knows can be just around the corner. He also gives us his thoughts on the current season and what he thinks lies ahead for Aldershot Town.

This is another reminder of what Random Fandom is all about: football isn't just about trophies, transfer fees, and headlines. It's about the fans, the memories, the heartbreak, and the stories that keep us coming back every week.

A new season is here, and Random Fandom is back for another season of football, questionable predictions, random teams and the all-important question: will our support prove to be a blessing or a curse?

We kick things off with a look at the season ahead, as Rob & John give their thoughts on the Premier League. Rob is doing his best to resist the temptation to simply declare Arsenal favorites, while John takes a slightly more realistic view of Liverpool’s chances. We then work our way through the rest of the Premier League, looking at the teams who could be challenging at the top, those fighting for Europe, the potential surprises and who might be looking nervously over their shoulders at the wrong end of the table.

We also kick off this season’s Fantasy League before getting to the part that really matters — the first random teams of Season 4!

Our first three teams are Wigan Athletic, Bournemouth and Aldershot Town, giving us a brilliant mix from the Premier League, League 1 and the National League.

Wigan start at home against Leyton Orient, while Aldershot face a tricky trip to Kidderminster. And Bournemouth? They couldn't have been handed a much tougher opening assignment, heading to Manchester City.

As always, we'll follow all three teams throughout the week, keep a close eye on their results and see whether Random Fandom can work its usual magic… or whether our support turns out to be an absolute disaster.

After a couple of unexpected delays thanks to John battling not one but two bouts of illness, we're finally back to wrap up our World Cup Diary series.

In this final episode, we look back on everything that made this tournament memorable. From England's heartbreaking exit to the crowning of a new world champion, we revisit the biggest talking points from the knockout stages and share our thoughts on a World Cup that delivered plenty of unforgettable moments.

We also hand out our own end-of-tournament awards, picking our favourite goals, standout players, biggest moments, and the stories that will stick with us long after the final whistle.
