Hauwa starts off with her first journey as a teenager through her home country, Ghana (Africa) and takes us through the capital city, Accra. Most recently she has returned from Senegal; this transformative destination impressed her with their procedures in place during the pandemic. Hauwa beautifully bridges the gap between travelling as a kid and as an adult, all while painting a portrait--not only of herself and her brand, Shesuthman, but also a portrait of every city she steps into. As we learn how to travel ethically, we also learn how travel unifies us as people.
