This week we dive into Tales from Wyoming by Teenage Bottlerocket—a band we'd both heard of but never properly listened to. It turns out that we've been missing out. Also: the Newcastle Knights making the Grand Final, another creator potentially stealing Poppeth Punk, and Sam has a horrifying story about his son swallowing a tooth.

Next week: Emo Book Club returns for Halloween!
We're finally taking on The Black Parade by My Chemical Romance.

Season 3 is here, and we’re starting with a big album: Take Off Your Pants and Jacket by Blink-182. We both loved this album in high school, but does it hold up today? Can it go one step further and give one of us a new number one? And, we also finally settle the seasons-long debate: is “Shut Up” a flame? Plus, we explain our unexpectedly long break, catch up on newborn life, and reveal what’s changing for Season 3 of Pop-Punk Book Club.

It’s the Season 2 Finale and the first birthday of Pop-Punk Book Club! We break down all the stats from the season, hand out our annual awards, roast each other’s worst takes, and take on our toughest challenge yet: The Flame Gauntlet, where we crown the greatest flame song from both Season 1 and Season 2.

Thanks for an amazing season. See you in Season 3!
