This week on Poetic Justice Cody & Pearson jump into the second episode of their new series, Artist Archives, with the continuation of The Mac Miller Story.

The guys start the episode with Mac's mixtape Best Day Ever, then discuss the release and reception of his debut album, Blue Slide Park. Then we take a spiral down as the guys dive into the drug abuse & criticism that lead to Cody's favorite Mac Miller mixtape, Macadelic. Finally to close the episode they talk Mac's second studio album, Watching Movies With The Sound Off and prepare for the rabbit hole they are about to fall into with next weeks episode.

This week on Poetic Justice Cody & Pearson sit down to start a brand new series on the podcast called The Artist Archive, A.A. for short. On their first A.A. meeting the guys have a Special Guest in the studio, Makenzie, who is from the City of Steel and has a direct line and connection to the first artist of our New Series, the Late & Great Mac Miller.

For our first A.A. episode we get Story Time from Makenzie about different things relevant to Mac & Pittsburgh as he was on the rise, BUT THEN... Makenzie plays for us an UNRELEASED Mac Miller song that was created by Mac for her brother back in high school for his schools Presidential Race.

To close the episode we then dive into Mac's Mixtape, K.I.D.S. (Kickin' Incredibly Dope Shit) and discuss the effect it had on us & how its release reached way beyond the City of Pittsburgh.

This week on Poetic Justice Cody & Pearson discuss Pop Smoke in wake of the 1 Year Anniversary of his passing. Then the guys debate if Todays Artists that have passed at a young age would have the same success if they were around in the Biggie/Tupac generation without streaming being available to them. Finally to close, Pearson claims and passionately defends that Florida is NOT included in the Southern Rap States and will die by it he says.
