It's the election season, and like you, we were curious about what messages those Democrats competing in ruby-red Congressional districts might run on to be successful. So on this episode of Old & Confused, Mike stepped up (some would say he stepped in it!) and pretended to be a candidate running in his boyhood district in eastern Washington, with Jon tossing him some softball questions. Kinda fun. And interesting. And let's just say that when the boys reversed roles with Jon being the candidate, the results were - er, um - a little different (i.e., incendiary). Maybe later. Anyway, listen in, AND BY ALL MEANS - VOTE LIKE THE YOUR FUTURE AND THAT OF YOUR FAMILY, YOUR COMMUNITY, YOUR STATE AND THE COUNTRY DEPENDS ON IT!!!

Canadians and Americans are more than just neighbors, but they’re not quite siblings either. They’re more like cousins. At least they used to be, before Americans voted in the much older, much disimproved version of the soiled orange sock puppet. On this episode of Old & Confused, Jon and Mike talk with two ex-pats - one Canadian, one American - about their experiences and views living in the other’s home country. There’s more than Quebec poutine and Kentucky bourbon on offer here, eh?

Are you a joiner? Wanna find a group of like-minded people who share your passion? Wanna make new friends and get out in the wide, wacky and wonderful world? In this episode of Old & Confused, Mike and Jon talk with a pair of lively women who created a club for others to share their love of open-water swimming, some laughter, and community. So, take the plunge and shiver with new-found excitement!
