This week I was joined by scholar Harleen Kaur who

unpacks and explores the Sikh identity in the west. From joining law enforcement to becoming prominent figures in the Democratic and Republican Parties, Sikhs are shaping the way that we show up in diaspora politics outside of India.

On October 4th, I sat down with Las Vegas based Attorney Hardeep Sull to discuss what finding community means to her and how the issues we're seeing in the diasporas can tie into the fights we need to continue to empower.

Before the November 7th, election I had a discussion with Norwich City Councilmember Swarnjit Singh Khalsa who is the first Sikh elected to City Council in the city and ran for and won his re-election.

He is also the founder of the Sikh Art Gallery which brings everyday people into the world of Sikh history and culture.
