In this episode I speak with Dr Sarah Myhill.

In this conversation, Sarah shares her journey as a medical doctor and her shift towards a more holistic approach to health, emphasising the importance of diet and lifestyle in preventing and treating diseases. She discusses the controversies surrounding modern medicine, including the influence of Big Pharma, the over-prescription of medications like statins, and the rising rates of dementia. Dr. Myhill also delves into the significance of thyroid health and offers insights into natural treatments for thyroid issues, encouraging listeners to take charge of their health.

Sarah is not only an incredibly knowledgeable doctor but is one of the most amazing humans I have ever had the pleasure to meet. It is impossible not to be enthused by Sarah's commitment to health and optimism that people can lead more enjoyable healthy lives, if only they were given the 'tools of the trade' (as Sarah refers to them).

In this episode I speak with Kelsey Buchalter.

In this conversation, Kelsey shares her personal journey through anxiety, bulimia, and anorexia, detailing the early signs of her struggles and the complex relationship between anxiety and eating disorders. She discusses the impact of these disorders on her life and relationships, the role of antidepressants in her recovery, and the importance of nutrition in mental health. Kelsey emphasises the need for passion and purpose in recovery and offers actionable advice for those struggling with similar issues, as well as for their loved ones. She concludes by sharing her current work in nutrition and her aspirations to help others on their healing journeys.

Since the tender age of just 3 years old, Kelsey recalls a crippling feeling of anxiety in her life. This latter manifested into bulimia and anorexia. Despite being hospitalised several times and at one point only weighing 24KG, Kelsey fought back. She rediscovered her purpose in life and found the courage to take the first steps to recovery. Having now come out the other side; and having qualified as a Nutrition Network Nutrition Coach, Kelsey now helps others to recover and live the lives they are capable of living!

In this episode I speak with Dr Rachel Brown.

Rachel is a National Health Service Consultant Psychiatrist, a practicing Functional Doctor and also a board-certified practitioner in Applied Quantum Biology.

To the best of her knowledge, Rachel is also responsible for running the only NHS metabolic mental health clinic in the UK.

In this discussion, Rachel speaks about how she has improved her own health with a low carb (and in more recent times, Carnivore, lifestyle). Rachel also provides insight into why ketones generated from using good quality fats are a far more efficient and inflammation friendly fuel for our brains, as compared to sugar.

Rachel also talks about other health and lifestyle practices that can improve or maintain a good state of mental health.

Rachel provides anonymised examples from her clinical practice of patients who have drastically improved their mental health as a result of changing their diet and lifestyle habits.

This discussion is a must for anyone suffering from ever common mental health problems, such as depression and anxiety.
