  • KANSAS CITY RAP LEGENDS TELL ALL! | Brandoshis & JonJonBaby Finally Speak on Their Journey, CEO Los, SFO, Drone Boyz & More
    Sep 17 2026

For this episode of the MostHated Podcast, we sit down with two Kansas City rap veterans who helped shape the city's music scene—Brandoshis and JonJonBaby.

This conversation goes far beyond music.

JonJonBaby takes us all the way back to the beginning, revealing how he started rapping in 1992 before fully committing to music around 1999-2000, when his career immediately began gaining momentum. He talks about working with legendary Kansas City producer PrettyBoi Beats, forming the iconic group SFO, and how they've continued making music together for years. JonJonBaby also opens up about the hardships he faced before music, explaining how hip-hop ultimately helped save his life and gave him a new purpose.

Brandoshis shares the incredible story behind his rise with the legendary Drone Boyz, explaining how their breakout record "Bold" became an instant street anthem that opened doors across Kansas City and beyond. He discusses collaborating with artists like Kstylis, why he eventually branched away from the group, and how his brothers helped create the now-recognized name "Brandoshis."

The conversation also dives into one of Kansas City's biggest records, "Don't Judge Me" by Young Devi featuring Brandoshis, a song that exploded to over 5 million streams and views, turning Brandoshis into one of the city's most recognizable artists.

    Nothing is off limits.

Brandoshis opens up about business mistakes, manager fallouts, rebuilding relationships, and learning how to move smarter in the music industry. He also shares an emotional tribute to his late friend and manager CEO Los, whose passing impacted not only Kansas City's music community but everyone close to him. We listen to and discuss his heartfelt record "I Owe You," featuring familiar faces from the classic 2009 era that helped build Kansas City's music legacy.

    Throughout the episode we discuss:

    • The evolution of Kansas City's rap scene • The history of SFO and Drone Boyz • Working with PrettyBoi Beats • Building a career that lasts decades • The music industry behind the scenes • Loyalty, business, and friendships • Losing CEO Los and honoring his legacy • Classic Kansas City music history • New music, future plans, and what's next

  • 81 Woo & 81 Freaky: “Everybody Plays A Part!” The REAL Story Behind The Woo Way Movement, 81 Woo Way 2, Touring & Teamwork
    Sep 16 2026

81 WOO IS BACK ON THE #MOSTHATEDPODCAST — and this time he brought 81 FREAKY with him! 🔥🎙️

We get officially introduced to 81 Freaky, who breaks down his role within the 81 team. Freaky makes it clear that he isn't necessarily coming in as a rapper — he's more like the muscle of the group 💪🏾 — but that doesn't mean music isn't in his future.

Freaky talks about being featured on the “Just Landed” mixtape with 81 Woo, appearing on more upcoming records, and possibly stepping out with some music of his own eventually. He also takes us behind the scenes of traveling with the crew and some of his funniest and most memorable moments touring through different cities.

Then 81 Woo catches us up on everything that's happened since his last MostHated appearance.

Woo breaks down his album “81 Woo Way 2,” why he intentionally kept the project to only 8 songs, how the people around him found their way onto the project, and what's coming with the upcoming DELUXE. 👀🔥 He even gives us some insight into unreleased records that haven't hit the streets yet.

We get into the entire WOO WAY movement and why Woo continues pushing that identity through his name, music and team.

Woo also talks about seeing how dedicated some of his supporters really are. Having genuine die-hard fans watching the journey has only motivated him to go even harder.

But everything in the music business isn't smooth…

We talk about dealing with JANKY PROMOTERS, the ups and downs that come with traveling and doing music, and some of the personal experiences Woo has learned from while building his career.

Woo explains why he physically WRITES HIS GOALS DOWN to keep himself focused and constantly moving toward the next level. 🎯

We also get into something every upcoming artist and content creator needs to understand — KNOWING YOUR AUDIENCE & UNDERSTANDING THE ALGORITHM. 📈

Woo talks about studying who's actually watching and listening instead of blindly dropping content.

And now he's adding another skill to the arsenal… 🎥

81 Woo is getting behind the camera!

He talks about learning camera work, shooting more content and eventually dropping even more of his own visuals once he gets the editing process down.

We also find out which cities show 81 Woo the MOST love — and you already know KANSAS CITY is sitting at the TOP! 🏆🌆

Most importantly, the whole room gets into a real conversation about TEAMWORK.

There is NO “I” in TEAM.

Everybody doesn't have to be the rapper. Everybody doesn't have to be the star. Everybody DOES have to play their position.

We talk about keeping everybody focused, holding each other accountable, understanding everybody's role, and dealing with the inevitable ups and downs that come with trying to build something together.

    81 Woo x 81 Freaky x MostHated Podcast

  • Young Fate: KC Was Doing DRILL Before Chicago?! LiveWire, J. Stalin, 30z vs 50z & “JET JET”
    Sep 2 2026

🔥 YOUNG FATE PULLS UP TO THE MOSTHATED PODCAST! 🔥

Kansas City rap history runs DEEP, and LiveWire artist Young Fate came through to take us back to an era when the KC music scene was on FIRE. 🎤💿

Young Fate breaks down his early music roots throughout Kansas City and working alongside names like Ron Ron, Rondoe (RIP 🕊️), Young Devi, Young Doe and more.

He tells the story of how performing at Moda Mansion eventually connected him with West Oakland rapper and LiveWire Records owner J. Stalin. What started with them swapping CDs turned into a relationship that would eventually take Fate's music journey to another level. 🌉🔥

And of course… “JET JET!” 🔥

Fate explains how the phrase became so popular around Kansas City, where it came from, and how being slick with words has been part of his personality since he was a kid. He even reveals the story behind the name YOUNG FATE — and trust us, you gotta hear that one yourself.

🎵 He also takes us behind some of his most popular records, explaining how the songs came together and the stories behind them.

But then we get into some REAL Kansas City history…

Young Fate talks about the era of different neighborhoods and rap crews going back and forth, including the 30z vs. 50z / 5ace2 era, when rap beef and real street tension sometimes crossed paths. Fate admits something you don't hear every rapper say: sometimes the opposition would drop a diss song and he actually thought it was HARD. 😂 But instead of just hating, it motivated him to get back in the studio and make an even harder response.

That leads into a bigger conversation about just how influential Kansas City's underground sound really was. Fate talks about KC's history with fonk, street music and aggressive neighborhood-based rap years before “drill” became a nationwide movement, and why Kansas City doesn't always receive the credit it deserves for its contributions to that sound.

From KC rap history ➡️ LiveWire ➡️ J. Stalin ➡️ classic records ➡️ old neighborhood rivalries ➡️ 30z vs 50z ➡️ JET JET ➡️ the evolution of Kansas City's music scene, Young Fate gives us stories from an era you had to actually BE THERE to understand.
