Episode 67 is a super fun one. We kick things off by catching up on our week of online toy hunting and local pickups, then answer some listener questions about our favorite Toy Biz figures and which Mattel DC villains we need most.

Then, keeping with spooky season, we count down our Top 10 Monster Action Figures Ever. Is Godzilla, King Kong, Terminator, Predator, Xenomorph, or another monster the greatest ever, and what is the best action figure representation of each?

After that, we move into the latest action figure news, including the reported Hasbro price increase and what it could mean for collectors of Star Wars Black Series, G.I. Joe Classified, and Marvel Legends. We also look ahead to NECA Ultramate Prey and Ghostface figures, S.H. Figuarts Gamerverse Venom, Jada Toys Player 2 Ultra Street Fighter II figures, and McFarlane God of War.

Finally, we take a look at the history of McFarlane DC Multiverse by comparing some of the very best and very worst figures the line has produced. You might be surprised by what we find.

On this episode, the Mighty Champions kick things off by catching up on Christian’s multi-store toy hunt in Houston, Texas, Jon’s latest eBay purchase of a new vehicle, and a potential major rearrangement of his collection.

Then they answer some listener questions before diving into Nightmare Action Figures, where they each subjectively pick five of the worst action figures they could possibly own and explain exactly what makes them so awful.

After that, they break down the biggest action figure news coming out of NYCC, including Mattel’s newly revealed DC Comics Legacy and Ultimate collector lines, highlighted by the new Hush Batman.

Finally, they bring back the popular Toy Line Resurrection segment. Christian pitches revivals for Man of Steel and Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight, while Jon makes the case for a Marvel Legends retro-card revival of Toy Biz’s 1995 Ghost Rider line.

This week on Mighty Champions: Action Figure Radio, we start by catching up on our week, including a real-life disaster that somehow only made us stronger, Christian’s upcoming toy hunt in Houston, and Jon’s latest eBay purchase.

Then we reveal our newest On Deck Collections: Christian tackles Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, while Jon builds out a collection of iconic action figure vehicles.

After that, we break down the latest action figure news from McFarlane DC Multiverse, G.I. Joe Classified, WWE, AEW, Star Wars Black Series, and more.

And in the main event, we attempt the definitive ranking of every Batman Beyond action figure ever made, from the original Hasbro Terry McGinnis figures through DC Direct, DC Universe Classics, Mezco, McFarlane, and beyond.

If you collect Batman, DC, Power Rangers, wrestling figures, G.I. Joe, or just love arguing about plastic men, this one’s for you.
