Get ready to unlock the wisdom and encouragement you need to walk boldly into everything this week has for you. Thank you for joining us on this incredible journey—let’s step into our Hour of P.O.W.E.R. together!Success—Define Your Win Rethinking Success After Failure Success. The world loves to define it for us—money, titles, perfection, never stumbling. But real life tells a different story, and so do I. As someone who has walked through the fires of domestic violence, survived the dark valley of a suicide attempt, and made mistakes I thought I’d never recover from, I’ve learned that true success isn’t about how the world sees you—it’s about how you rise after you fall. This week, I’m inviting you to rethink what winning means: to embrace your journey, failures and all, and to customize a vision of achievement that’s true to your soul. This is the season to define your win and give yourself permission to celebrate it.Every week, we recite our foundation for 2026 F.O.C.U.S. FRAMEWORK:Faith First: Trusting God’s purpose as the guiding star.Organize Your Priorities: Centering what matters most.Commit to Growth: Embracing learning and spiritual maturity.Uplift Others: Lifting your community as you rise.Stay the Course: Persevering through every challenge. When we hear the word “success,” it’s easy to picture awards, fame, or status. But for many of us, true success is born from the ashes of our most painful failures. I’ve had my own re-defining moments—not just as an author and leader, but as a survivor of domestic violence, a survivor of attempted suicide, and as someone who has made countless mistakes on this journey called life. Each setback forced me to confront the question: What does real success mean to me now?3 Key Points: Customizing Your Own Vision of Achievement1. Define Success for Yourself—Not for Others It’s easy to chase someone else’s idea of winning. But your life’s victories might look different—and should feel personal. After my darkest moments, I learned that true success meant reclaiming my voice, forgiving myself, and pursuing my God-given purpose. Scripture reminds us, “For I know the plans I have for you…plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11, NIV). Success starts with embracing your unique journey.2. Real Success is Growth, Not Perfection Our mistakes and wounds don’t disqualify us from winning—they refine us. The world may keep score in dollars and followers, but real achievement is measured by growth: healing from old hurts, making better choices, and refusing to let yesterday’s pain rule today. “Though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again.” (Proverbs 24:16, NIV). Get up—again and again—because each time you rise is a victory.3. Celebrate Progress, Not Just Outcomes Success isn’t just about reaching a far-off goal, but about honoring every step forward—especially when nobody else sees it. Celebrate the days you showed up for yourself, even when battling old demons. Paul reminds us, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9, NIV). Consistent small wins pave the way for big breakthroughs.3 Ways to Keep Going When Life Knocks You Down1. Lean Into Your Faith & Community When the weight of your challenges feels overwhelming, remember you don’t have to shoulder it alone. Turn to your faith—pray, meditate, and immerse yourself in uplifting scripture for strength and perspective. Just as important, reach out to those who care: family, trusted friends, mentors, or supportive groups. Their encouragement, wisdom, and prayers can lift your spirit and remind you that you’re surrounded by love. “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” (Ecclesiastes 4:12, NIV) Example: Imagine you’re facing a painful...

  • WEEK5 Staying F.O.C.U.S.ed—The Hour of P.O.W.E.R. "Enduring Faith: Committed Until the Breakthrough"
    Feb 2 2026
Week 5: Until, Not Unless — Deep Commitment in the Face of Doubt52 Week Journey | February Theme: Deep Commitment #UntilVictorious #POWERHour #FOCUSJourneyWelcome back to another empowering week on our 52-week F.O.C.U.S. journey, where every session is about building your life with intention, victory, and unwavering perseverance. This week, we’re diving deep into the difference between commitment and convenience—and what it really takes to hold on “until,” not just “unless.”Every week, we recite our foundation for 2026 F.O.C.U.S. The Dark Night of DoubtEveryone faces that moment—a “dark night” where your faith in yourself wavers and giving up feels easier than standing strong. I remember my own season (share your brief personal story here or highlight someone like Harriet Tubman, Maya Angelou, or a relevant leader). Everything inside me whispered, “Let it go. No one would blame you.” But something greater called me to press on. The breakthrough wasn’t in the convenient option, but in the commitment to stay the course until the light returned.Commitment vs. Convenience: POWER Principles at WorkPositioned: You are where you’re supposed to be, even in the struggle. Lean into the purpose behind your current season. Let adversity position you for greater growth.Overcomer: You are not defeated by setbacks. Overcoming doesn’t mean you never fall—it means you rise until you see victory. The word “until” turns obstacles into stepping stones, building grit and character.Willing Vessel: True power comes not from doing only what’s easy, but from being willing to serve, endure, and walk in faith—until God says you’re done. A willing vessel is one who doesn’t quit at discomfort, but stands resilient.Empower/Encourage/Educate: Educate yourself in the storm. Let adversity teach you—discover your triggers, your strengths, your deeper “why.” Empower others by sharing your journey. Encourage those who waver to stand “until”—not “unless”—breakthrough comes.Resilience: Resilience is a muscle, built gradually. It’s easy to say “I’ll keep going unless it gets too hard.” But true power speaks: “I will keep going until the assignment is complete, until God says ‘enough,’ until I cross the finish line.”What Tempts You to Give Up?Life gives us many exit ramps: fear, exhaustion, rejection, lack of support, or the slow pace of progress.Discussion time: What tempts you to give up? Is it the whispers of doubt, the loneliness of the journey, or the unexpected storms? Write them out—call them by name—then commit to staying the course until you see what’s promised. This Week’s Social ChallengePost your honest moments of perseverance and tag #UntilVictorious—let the world see that real transformation isn’t instant. It’s messy, uneasy, and at times, lonely—but you are not alone. Encourage the community: share your “until” moment, and celebrate every inch of progress. You Are Not Alone—Stay Until the VictoryYou’re not defined by what tempts you, but by what you choose. Champions don’t rise on convenience; they rise on unshakeable commitment. The next door in your journey will open—not because you only went so far as it was easy, but because you resolved to stay until.Let this week be a rallying cry: Not “unless it works out…” But until I become the person, the trailblazer, the overcomer I am meant to be.Scripture for the Week: \“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9 (NIV)Affirmation for the Week: I am committed to my purpose, strengthened by faith, and unstoppable in my resolve. I will persevere—not unless it’s easy, but until the victory is won!Your “until” matters. It inspires the world.#UntilVictorious #POWERHour #FOCUSJourney #DeepCommitment #Overcomer #StayTheCourse #PurposeInAction🌟 Empower. Educate. Encourage. Repeat. The journey may test you—but the victory, the finish, the legacy is worth every step you didn’t quiBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/monday-motivation-1-hour-of-power--5605859/support.

We proved that even the quietest acts of determination echo the legacy of giants like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who changed the world one courageous decision at a time. Our resilience has planted seeds, and now, a new chapter unfolds. As we step boldly into Week 4, remember this truth: Destiny is not determined by fleeting moments of inspiration, but by the daily choices we make to honor the vision within us. This is your invitation to transform big dreams into daily actions—brick by brick, habit by habit.Let’s now chart our course for success together. This week’s mission? Break your God-given vision into small, meaningful steps, and watch those steps become the foundation for the legacy you’re called to build. Now get ready to build—and watch your breakthrough unfold! From Perseverance to Purpose: Mapping Your Course for Success (Week 4)Every week, we recite our foundation for 2026 F.O.C.U.S. It’s time to chart the next step—breaking your God-given vision into achievable, daily habits.Week 4 : Course for SuccessBig Dreams, Daily StepsEver notice that the world’s biggest breakthroughs—like classic music albums or life-changing inventions—weren’t just flashes of inspiration, but the result of faithful, daily work? Every historic project, no matter how iconic, is built on small, consistent steps. As we set our sails for success, Week 4 invites you to “map your course”—finding your vision and making it real, one habit at a time.Teaching Focus: Big visions don’t just happen. They grow from everyday actions—writing a paragraph, rehearsing a scale, planning your day, or spending five minutes in focused prayer. Success isn’t a single leap, but a series of daily steps in the right direction.Discussion Prompt:What is one small, daily action you can commit to this week that supports your big dream? Share with us or with your accountability group—let’s encourage each other!Habit Building Tips for Queens & Kings: Crafting Your Course for SuccessStart Small, Win Big: True transformation comes from consistently doing small things well. Choose one habit to focus on—such as waking up 15 minutes earlier for quiet time or journaling three things you’re grateful for each morning. Master the small, and the big will follow.Anchor New Habits to Existing Routines: Pair your new habit with something you already do daily. For example, meditate for five minutes right after brushing your teeth, or review your goals when you pour your first cup of coffee. Anchoring habits makes them easier to remember and sustain.Eliminate Decision Fatigue: Set up your environment for success. Lay out your workout clothes the night before, prep healthy snacks in advance, or set a phone reminder for your devotional reading. Reduce the number of choices, and watch your willpower soar.Visualize Your Why: Each morning, remind yourself why this habit matters. Place your written goal where you’ll see it—on your mirror, your fridge, or your phone’s lock screen. Connecting to your purpose fuels consistency.Conquer Procrastination with the “Two-Minute Rule”: If a task takes less than two minutes, do it right away. This trains your brain to take action and builds momentum for tackling bigger habits.Track Your Progress: Use a habit tracker or simply mark an “X” on your calendar each day you complete your habit. Celebrate every streak—progress keeps motivation high.Find Accountability: Share your habit goal with a friend, your group, or even our community. Check in regularly and cheer each other on. Accountability multiplies your commitment.Practice Self-Compassion: You’ll have off days, and that’s OK. Instead of giving up, simply recommit the next day. Remember, long-term change is about persistence, not perfection.Reward Yourself: Give yourself a positive reward when you stick to your habit—whether it’s a moment of praise, a fun sticker, or a little treat. Rewards reinforce your new behavior.Reflect and Adjust: At the end of the week, review what’s ...
