• #127- Life After Christmas
    Dec 29 2025

Christmas has come and gone, but what happens in the days after? Life doesn't pause—challenges continue, responsibilities return, and the world keeps turning. Yet for those who have encountered Jesus, it can never be "business as usual" again.

As we step into 2026, remember: God isn't just present in the mountaintop moments or special events. He's in the daily journey, working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Every single day is an opportunity to see His goodness shining in and through us. The same God who brought you this far will lead you on.

Will you find God in the journey, not just the destination?

  • #126- Drawn By God's Deep Love
    Dec 22 2025

We often think we need to earn God's approval, to be "good enough" before we can approach Him. But the Christmas story tells us something radically different.

Why did God send angels to announce Jesus' birth to shepherds? By worldly standards, they were completely unqualified. Yet God chose them.

Here's the beautiful truth: It wasn't the goodness of the shepherds that secured their invitation. It was the grace and love of God that warmly welcomed them into the most significant moment in history.

God's love makes the first move. While we were still sinners, Christ came for us. We don't have to clean ourselves up first. We don't have to reach some level of holiness. God has already extended His love to you.

Have you encountered this love? When the shepherds experienced it, they couldn't help but share it with everyone. That's what God's love does—it overflows.

You're not just an innocent bystander in the Christmas story. You're at the very heart of it.

  • #125- Opening The Door To Joy
    Dec 15 2025

Joy isn't just a feeling – it's something we're meant to share. This Advent season, as we light the third candle representing joy, we're reminded that true, lasting joy doesn't come from temporary fixes or fleeting pleasures. It comes from Jesus alone.

The gift of Christmas wasn't meant just for us – it was meant for the whole world. As Isaac Watts wrote, "Joy to the world, the Lord is come!"

This season, let's find our joy in Jesus, not in the things of this world. Let's share that joy with everyone around us. Let's open the door to joy and invite others into the goodness and grace of our Lord and Savior.

Who is God calling you to share His joy with this Christmas?

  • #124- Finding Peace in God
    Dec 8 2025

In a world filled with conflict, anxiety, and uncertainty, where do we find true peace? Not in avoiding our problems, not in numbing our pain, and not in the broken promises of others—but in God alone.

This Advent season reminds us of Joseph's story—a righteous man facing an unplanned pregnancy, cultural shame, and a future turned upside down. He could have walked away. He could have chosen the easier path. But when God spoke, everything changed.

What are you facing today? What situation has stolen your peace? What challenge seems too big to overcome? Remember this: God's ways are not our ways. What you see as a disruption might be God's interruption, recruiting you into His magnificent plan.

Don't miss what God might have waiting for you on the other side of your struggle. Find your courage not in yourself, but in the Spirit of God who speaks peace into every storm.

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives." - Jesus

  • #123- Hope in the Waiting
    Dec 1 2025

We're stepping into Advent 2025 with this reminder: unmet longings aren't signs of God's absence—they're sacred spaces where He meets us.

God's love isn't transactional—it's sacrificial. Jesus didn't die on the cross to get something in return. He gave everything, asking nothing back.

When prayers seem unanswered and hope feels deferred, we have choices: turn away from God, settle for dead religion, or press deeper into relationship with Him. Zechariah and Elizabeth chose faithfulness. And it was in their continued service, despite disappointment, that an angel appeared with news that would change the world. They wanted a child. God gave them John the Baptist—the one who would prepare the way for the Messiah.

God's thoughts are higher than ours. His ways surpass our understanding. We know what we want, but God knows what we need. He is able to do "abundantly far more than we can ask or imagine."

This Advent, what deferred hope are you carrying? Are you willing to let God answer differently—and better—than you expected?

  • #122- Experiencing God's Peace
    Nov 24 2025

This week Jay Dietz of Trinity Church Sugar Land, will share personal insights on seeing the unchanging faithfulness of God in every season of life—joyful or difficult, clear or confusing. Scripture reminds us that God’s character does not shift with our circumstances; His promises stand firm. In Philippians 4:6–7 Paul teaches that instead of being overwhelmed by worry, believers are invited to bring every concern before God through earnest prayer and thankful hearts. When we do, God responds not merely by solving our problems, but by guarding our hearts and minds with His supernatural peace—peace that surpasses all human understanding.

  • #121- And God Remembered
    Nov 17 2025

In the midst of your wilderness season, when prayers feel unanswered and hope seems distant, remember this powerful truth: God's faithfulness matters more than your perfection.

Here's what changes everything: Hannah wasn't answered because she was more spiritual or more righteous than anyone else. She was answered because God is faithful. The same God who remembered Hannah is the same God who remembers you today.

Maybe you've been praying for breakthrough. Maybe you've questioned whether God even hears you. Maybe you've doubted yourself right out of persistent prayer. Today is your reminder: keep praying fervently, keep seeking persistently, because you serve a remembering God.

Where are you experiencing barrenness today? Bring it before the Lord. He sees you. He hears you. And He remembers you.

  • #120- Children of the Resurrection
    Nov 10 2025

Death is a mystery that has puzzled humanity for generations. Scripture gives us enough to stand on with confidence and hope.

The most important truth? The resurrection is not speculation—it's a certainty. When Jesus quoted Moses at the burning bush, He affirmed that God is "the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob"—present tense. God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. They are alive to Him.

So today, let's not grieve as those who have no hope. Instead, let's live with the assurance that our relationship with God transcends death itself. Are you in Christ? Then you are a child of God and a child of the resurrection. That's not just hope—that's reality.
