2025 is finally over. Great year for music, which is great for us! Bad year for... almost everything else for us here at LFT, but did you see? It's over. We survived.

2025 has been a great year for music with a lot of very difficult decisions looming as to what is our favorites. Today, we touch on a little bit of music news and talk about our criteria for what makes our best of lists. We talk about albums and works that *just* falls outside of our respective top ten albums.

We're almost to a new calendar year and some of your favs have already released best of lists. Best Albums, Best EPs, Best (Insert Genre Here) of 2025, Worst lists even! We do not take that approach here.

It's a busy time of year for your girl Jenn. Time to record is a premium but you know what? She took time to spend it with me. We recorded that time. And buddy? It's yours!

This week we talk about Spotify, Ticketmaster/LiveNation, Chappel Roan's philanthropic efforts, and Gen X dad's geekin' for Dave Grohl and His Foo Fighters. It's Punk for A Day Day so we talk about what the genre has meant to us, cover songs that are scary bad, petty reasons to hate a band, and using song titles to conjure the spirits of our sports segments of yore.
