• Race Relationships - Authentic Allyship
    May 14 2026

    This episode is personal.
Not because I have every perfect word prepared — but because conversations surrounding race are still deeply felt, deeply layered, and deeply human.

As a Black woman, I carry lived experiences that shape how I move through the world. And in this conversation, I wanted to create space for honesty without hostility, truth without division, and dialogue without defensiveness.

My guest and I come from different racial realities, but we chose to meet in the middle with respect, vulnerability, and a willingness to listen. That matters to me.

This conversation isn’t about debate. It’s about perspective. Growth. Friendship. Accountability. Grace. And what it looks like to have hard conversations while still seeing each other’s humanity.

I hope people walk away challenged, thoughtful, and more open than they were before they pressed play.

    May 7 2026

This week on Let’s Talk About It with Jami Jones Ervin, we’re having a conversation that so many women live through — but don’t always have space to process.

Navigating Womanhood as a Motherless Woman.

What does it mean to grow, evolve, and step fully into yourself while carrying the absence of the one who first shaped you?

Together, we explore grief that changes over time, identity without a blueprint, and the strength it takes to become — even in the missing.

There is tenderness here. There is truth here. And yes… there is room for healing here too.

Navigating the “sandwich era” of life can feel like being stretched in every direction—caring for aging parents while still showing up for your children, your partner, your work, and yourself.

This week, Stephen Franklin joins me for a grounded, relatable conversation about what it really looks like to live in the middle. We talk about the emotional load, the shifting family dynamics, the stress (and the guilt), and also the unexpected moments of meaning that show up along the way.

A heartfelt, honest look at trying to stay balanced, present, and human when life gets complicated.
