I value conversations - about all kinds of topics - and putting them on my professional page was never a good strategy when I like to have conversations about conspiracy theories and out of this world topics, true crime and scandals! We also love to talk about good things and business wins and losses... but this whole show is dedicated to conversations full of enrichment. Thanks for being here and thanks for talking.

Hosted by The Nerd — Jenn, author & host of Marketing Is Mind Control and author of the book with the same title. From a corporate background in marketing to freelance niche industry PR, I've been there and done that. The mission now is to help you navigate the waters when you go to do the thing. The Marketing is Mind Control podcast stays on course of marketing topics & business. The Let's Hash it Out with the Nerd podcast is me... same brain... deeper conversations.


Topics may include:
• human trafficking awareness
• grooming and manipulation psychology
• addiction and recovery
• institutional failures
• recovering after medical or pharmaceutical or institutional harm
• culture, power, media narratives
• and the questions we aren’t always allowed to ask out loud apparently... I missed the memo.

Again, sometimes guests will be introduced with full credentials... Other times, my guests may remain anonymous so ideas can be discussed freely without negative bot clapback on these folks' businesses... but not in the sense of let's spread hate, but more like, we are people and have conversations we want to grow the world into a better place for us all and don't want to evoke bot or elite targeting campaigns on everyone for everything. If a guest wants the acknowledgement, we'll do it. If not, we don't and we don't read them for twenty minutes while you stare at the guest while I read... that's for sure!

This show isn’t about claiming absolutes or propping people up for stardom— it’s about thinking out loud, comparing perspectives, and exploring ideas together. If you enjoy curious minds, honest conversation, and asking better questions, pull up a chair.

    Ticks are everywhere in 2026 - Use Cedarwood Essential Oil and maybe eucalyptus, peppermint, geranium, clove -- they all work well, but cedarwood oil is the important key.... and mix it into a sprayer bottle attachment for your hose and douse your yard or perimeter about every 2-4 weeks. Our yard is quieter for sure, and so many fewer ticks. It basically stops their breathing mechanisms, so they either can't cross that oil line or don't try to.
