Ken McElroy had been the town bully for rural Skidmore, Missouri for many decades. He was a man that had a very intimidating look and his bite was definitely worse than his bite. By July of 1981, Skidmore residents had had enough of being bullied by this man and were ready to stand up to him once and for all. The true events that played out of July 10, 1981 outside a local tavern cannot be determined. What can be determined though is: no one saw anything.
