On this episode of KFUG Community Square, we talk with Lark Doolan of Queer Humboldt about the impact of Open Door Community Health Centers ending gender-affirming health care for transgender youth.

What does this change mean for local young people and their families? Where can youth turn for care and support, and what challenges does this create for rural and LGBTQ+ communities? Lark shares Queer Humboldt’s perspective on the decision, the concerns being raised by community members, and the importance of ensuring transgender youth have access to safe, affirming, and compassionate care.

RiRi Talks to KFUG's Heather Polen sharing her poetry and her story of how she became homeless 35 years ago. Defining Community while also questioning the definition used by the housed or "citizens" and sharing her view of Mission "Imposable". She is joined by George Ruth and Vickie who share stories of friends who return to die and communal sharing.

RiRi reminds us of the uncomfortable truth, we are all closer to being homeless than we want to admit.
