Kyrie and Adam briefly go over some of the highlights of July, minus the new Spider-Man movie which just barely came out. The big one being The Odyssey, to no one's surprise. And then they take a look at some of the movies coming out in August. There's a few that might end up being either sleeper hits or massive bombs, but the big one they're both looking forward to is Coyote vs. Acme.

To kick off, Adam and Kyrie discuss one of the hottest movies of the summer: Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey. Both got a chance to see it opening weekend and they discuss their reactions, as well as some of the interesting BTS aspects. Truly a cinematic feat. And then it was time for another Arts vs Charts episode. Kyrie had been wanting Adam to see Pan's Labyrinth for a bit now, so they first discuss Jim Henson's Labyrinth with David Bowie before diving into Guillermo Del Toro's film. They have...differing opinions on Labyrinth, but spend some time gushing over the puppetry in both films and some of the themes in Del Toro's.

One of the big hits of the summer comes out this weekend and that is The Odyssey! Christopher Nolan is definitely a critically and popularly adored director and there are many people excited to see his take on the Greek epic. So, Adam and Kyrie decide to take a look at Christopher Nolan's filmography and highlight some of their favorites. Two fairly different lists, but a lot of Nolan movies are big crowd-pleasers. They also both got to the theatre with Adam seeing Olivia Wilde'sThe Invite and Kyrie giving Minions and Monsters a chance.
