What does it look like to build a career that works for you — not just the career you originally trained for?
In this episode, we’re joined by Jasmin Abbott, Registered Psychologist and founder of Pace Psychology Service in the Illawarra and South Coast of NSW.
Jasmin brings a unique perspective to her work, having previously worked as a teacher and school counsellor before becoming a psychologist. As a mum of four and a psychologist with a particular interest in ADHD, autism, anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation and parenting, she combines evidence-based psychology with a very real-world understanding of family life.
We talk about neurodivergence, the journey into private practice, creating boundaries around family and work, and the courage it takes to build a career around your strengths, values and priorities.
A warm and honest conversation about finding your own path, trusting what works for you, and giving yourself permission to do things differently.
