She describes the shift from interpreting policy to advising clients, then learning that internal business partners do not always know the question they need to ask. The conversation examines how legal teams earn a place in strategic decisions by understanding operations, communicating practical guardrails and helping leaders move forward in a highly regulated industry. Lloyd also discusses quiet confidence, introverted leadership and the value of speaking before someone else claims an idea.
