It was late on a Friday night last September and Ant Middleton, the ex-special forces soldier, had an exciting announcement to make. He had launched a cryptocurrency token and fans could now buy in.

But after just nine days, without explanation, he stopped promoting the token. The price of ANT Coin plummeted. And Middleton hasn’t mentioned it since.

A HOPE not hate analysis has found that Middleton’s token (in which he partnered with a convicted drug trafficker) exhibits signs often seen with so-called “pump and dump” schemes which take advantage of gullible online traders.
