As an auditor, she saw tons of tax returns with sometimes hundreds of thousands of dollars of missed deductions that were detrimental for clients. Carlotta created a bigger dream and mission to directly help business owners pay the least tax legally possible by creating Tax Strategists of America. She created a program to help business owners pay the least taxes legally possible.

Deadlines! Those little digital bullies that sit in our calendars, mocking us with their red font and exclamation points. If you're listening to this, chances are you've had a recent intimate encounter with the panic-inducing phrase "due yesterday" or found yourself crafting yet another creative excuse about why your project is fashionably late.

Don't worry – you're not alone in this deadline disaster dance. We've all been there, promising ourselves we'll start that important task "first thing tomorrow" while simultaneously opening another browser tab to watch videos of cats being confused by cucumbers. Here's the thing: breaking deadlines doesn't just stress you out, it's like slowly deflating your professional reputation one missed due date at a time.

Did you know that if you don’t start a task within the first 72 hours you are very unlikely to do it at all? Regardless of how difficult, time-intensive, or complex a task is we need to get started within 72 hours. This doesn’t mean you have to finish within 72 hours, it just means that you need to start. Keep that in mind when scheduling and planning.

The good news? You can absolutely turn this ship around, and you don't need to sacrifice your sanity (or your Netflix subscription) to do it.

This is a poem by Linda Doucett that I hope you was fun and hope you enjoy.

'Twas the eve before Christmas.
I left it too late.
The shelves are all bare.
Oh, why did I wait?

I swore I'd shop early,
I clearly remember,
And be done with it all
By the first of December.

But now here I am
With picked-over stock.
The boxes are crumpled
On the Marvel knockoffs.

Sweaters too big,
Slippers too small.
The pushing the grabbing,
Get me out of this mall.

I will stop at the drug store
And purchase a card
And fill it with money.
Why make life hard?

It always fits
And suits everyone's taste.
No need to wrap it.
That's just a waste.

But should you not like it,
Dear, have no fear,
If you'd like to return it,
My pocket's right here.
