In this first episode of a three-part series on giving, Pastor Bob explores the biblical responsibility of generosity and its role in advancing God’s work. Drawing from 2 Corinthians 8, he explains how giving supports the local church, strengthens ministries, and allows believers to care for brothers and sisters in need.

Through Scripture and personal testimony, Pastor Bob encourages us to view giving not as a burden, but as an act of worship and an opportunity to experience the joy of blessing others and participating in God’s work locally and around the world.

In this message, Pastor Bob explores how God’s light can transform our lives, strengthen our families, and draw us closer to Him. Using 1 John 1:5–9, he challenges us to move beyond simply checking off spiritual boxes and become true disciples who keep God’s Word at the center of everyday life.

Joined by Pastor Rob and Jordan from Word of Life, he discusses the importance of parents and grandparents passing on their faith, prioritizing family devotions, and supporting one another through life’s struggles. No matter our family circumstances or past mistakes, God offers forgiveness, restoration, and a community of believers ready to walk alongside us.

In this message from 1 Peter 1:22–2:3, Pastor Bob explores how the gospel transforms the way we love others and live out our faith. He challenges believers to move beyond superficial friendship to the sacrificial, Christlike love described in 1 Corinthians 13. That means putting away hypocrisy, envy, deceit, malice, and slander while allowing God’s Word to nourish and strengthen us.

As we grow in our understanding of God’s goodness and the sacrifice Jesus made for us, we’re called to live with genuine love, humility, and authenticity in our everyday relationships.

In the final episode of this 12-Step Life Recovery Journey mini-series, Pastor Bob explores what it means to experience a spiritual awakening, carry the message of hope to others, and practice these principles in everyday life. Drawing from Scripture, he emphasizes the importance of leading by example, coming alongside others with humility rather than judgment, and remaining vigilant against temptation and pride.

With Jesus as the source of true spiritual transformation, Step 12 challenges us to use what we have learned to encourage others, offer hope, and continue growing in our own walk with God.

In James 2:1–7, Pastor Bob examines the danger of partiality and favoritism within the church. Using the example of the rich and poor visitors entering an assembly, James reminds believers that God shows no partiality and calls His people to treat everyone with the same love and dignity. Pastor Bob challenges us to look beyond outward appearances, social status, wealth, and circumstances and instead see people as God sees them.

Whether rich or poor, successful or struggling, our greatest need—and our greatest treasure—is found in Jesus Christ. As followers of Christ, we are called to reflect His love by welcoming others, caring for them, and pointing them toward the true riches found in Him.

In this message from 1 Peter 1:13–21, we are challenged to prepare our minds for action and live with our hope firmly fixed on Jesus Christ. Peter calls believers to be sober-minded, reject the patterns of their former lives, and pursue holiness by allowing the Holy Spirit to transform the way they think and live. Rather than merely talking about our faith, we are called to demonstrate an authentic Christian life through our actions, compassion, self-control, and obedience.

Ultimately, our motivation is found in the incredible truth that Christ was chosen before the foundation of the world to redeem us through His precious blood, giving us an eternal hope in God.
