Eovaldi was dominant, throwing seven innings while allowing just five hits, one walk, and striking out nine batters. What has happened to Toronto's approach at the plate? Meanwhile, Patrick Corbin had another tough outing, allowing five earned runs over 4.1 innings. Corbin has struggled for the majority of his Blue Jays tenure and now it begs the question of what should the Blue Jays do with the veteran starter?

One of the few bright spots of late has been the Blue Jays bullpen. Spencer Miles, Adam Macko and Louis Varland kept the Blue Jays in the game after Corbin was pulled but the Toronto comeback fell just short, losing 5-4.
