  • This Movie Doesn't Exist: The Pale Blue Eye (2022)...also an extended discussion on Bugonia (2025)
    Jan 4 2026

Another year and another coveted, iconic, and expected Film Frauds hiatus! However, we are back with a newfound vigor for discussing movies and creating entertainment for you all! Over the next 6-8 weeks, we have recorded a bunch of different episodes and will be putting them out every single Sunday!

In this discussion today, we begin by Matt updating us on his thoughts with Yorgos Lanthimos' new movie Bugonia (2:56). Then, Tyler talks about a new, very underseen and talked about movie Dust Bunny (19:40). Then, Matt's internet dies and we had to finish recording the next day. In that day gap, Tyler watched Bugonia so we discuss our thoughts together on that movie (28:32). Lastly, we start a new series "This Movie Doesn't Exist" where we talk about forgotten streaming movies starting with Scott Cooper's gothic story of Edgar Allen Poe and a murder mystery with The Pale Blue Eye (50:30).

  • Clearing out our watchlists 4
    Sep 2 2025

What is better than a brand new Film Frauds episode? A "Clearing out our watchlists" special edition! This time we talk about 2 of the worst movies we have ever chosen for this along with 2 of the more interesting (and in one specific case exceedingly depressing) ones. What does a depressed Mel Gibson wearing a beaver, the real effects of nuclear war, serial killers, and an examination of a fascist mindset have in common? Well, they are all movies we are talking about here today!

  • Bonus Fraud Episode: Weapons (2025) and the current state of horror movies as casual fans
    Aug 19 2025

Weapons! Children as weapons! Metaphors! Themes! These are all the things that Zach Cregger's new movie Weapons (2025) has! But is it a good movie? Does it live up to the anticipation of its excellent marketing and follow-up to Barbarian (2022)? Lastly, where does it exist amongst the current horror film zeitgeist in 2025? What is the horror movie zeitgeist in 2025? How do we view it as casual fans of the genre? Do I have any more questions to write here? Of course I do....like where do babies come from?

  • The Search for Modern Classics: Steve Jobs (2015)
    Aug 12 2025

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Is it a stage play? Is it the script stating the themes of the movie multiple times? Is it a hallmark ending that wraps up everything smoothly? No! It is an Aaron Sorkin film! Just kidding SorKING, we love you. But do we love his 2015 semi-biopic Steve Jobs? Is it a modern classic?
