    As a society we have not appreciated the profound nature of fasting. This article grounds us in the biological reality of fasting and inspires with a vision of bringing the healing potential into the mainstream of the system.

    The potential is great. The realization of even a fraction of the potential will take much thoughtful, deliberate, compassionate and courageous effort.

    Even if a grand vision like this is not realized in the short term, we can do our part and take the best care of our own selves that we can. Then radiate that health out to the best of our ability.
