We start at running back, where Mike Washington Jr. is making a serious push for playing time with the Las Vegas Raiders, Jonah Coleman is emerging in Denver, and Tyler Allgeier is coming off a monster performance for the Arizona Cardinals. Fantasy Football Week 5 Projections from The Fantasy Football Almanac Show breaks down five key NFL matchups and how they could shape your fantasy lineup. Denver vs LA, Buffalo vs LA, Chicago vs Green Bay, Jacksonville vs Philadelphia, and Seattle vs San Francisco are all under the microscope as the first bye weeks begin.

Injury concerns, changing player roles, defensive matchups and offensive tendencies all factor into the Week 5 outlook, with Fantasy Football Almanac projections guiding the analysis. If you are deciding between two running backs or looking for an upside wide receiver, this episode focuses on where fantasy opportunities may emerge and which situations could turn risky.

The discussion gives context for start sit decisions in a week where lineup margins are thin and the matchups matter. Listeners will hear how these games could affect Week 5 projections across the NFL and what to watch from each offense before setting a roster.

On this episode of the Fantasy Football Almanac Show, I’m looking at the players you should consider adding to the end of your roster before Week 1. These aren't safe, career-long mediocre veterans who might give you a few usable fantasy points. We're taking home run swings.

The goal is simple: use those final roster spots on players whose situations could change quickly. If things break the right way in Week 1, you may already have the player everyone else in your league is fighting to acquire on waivers.

I break down lottery-ticket options at every position, including:

QB Malik Willis

RB Chris Rodriguez Jr.

WR Jalen Nailor

TE Chig Okonkwo

Plus many more high-upside players to consider before Week 1

Some of these players won't work out. That's the point. At the back of your roster, I'd rather chase breakout potential than predictable mediocrity.
