• 2026: The Year We Reclaim Family
    Jan 4 2026

    Send us a text

The year 2025 served as a "gut punch" to the American family, marked by a national mourning for lost standards and an escalation of digital and cultural threats. We are moving past the "good start" of last year to a refined, active mission: waking up and equipping families to reclaim their homes from institutions that have ignored or failed them.

    Key "Wake Up" Calls

    • Where is the Father? We must address the intentional cultural attack on fatherhood and recognize that if a dad isn't leading his children, an outside organization or algorithm certainly is.
    • The System is Complicit: From economic fraud to the "Somali daycare" scandal, we can no longer assume "they" are going to do the right thing; the responsibility for protection starts at our own front door.
    • Digital Discipleship is Not Optional: The digital landscape is a battlefield where our children's identities are being shaped silently by "identity capture" and algorithmic depression.
    • Local Action over National Noise: While world events are "bizarro land," our greatest power lies in affecting our local communities and churches to force a shift in the national landscape.

  • EP 18: Am I To Become a Man (Joshua Carter’s Wake-Up Call)
    Dec 16 2025

    Send us a text

Joshua Carter is a good man.

    He works hard.
    He loves his wife.
    He shows up.
    He goes to church.

But one ordinary day exposes a quiet truth he can’t ignore anymore:
he’s been managing life — not leading it.

In this story-driven episode, we introduce Joshua and the Carter family, and we follow him through a moment every man eventually faces:

Am I actually becoming the man God made me to be — or am I just staying comfortable?

This episode marks the end of Season One and sets the stage for what’s coming next:

    • January: What is a Man?
    • February: Becoming a Better Husband
    • March: Leading as a Father

    This is not about guilt.
    It’s about ownership.
    It’s about determination.
And it’s about the quiet moment where a man decides to engage.

    Joshua’s story is just beginning.
So is this next chapter of the Family Readiness Project.

AI isn’t your enemy or your savior. In this episode, Rick lays out a biblical “third path”: use AI as a tool—don’t let it master your mind, your time, or your kids.

    • The two bad extremes: hype vs. hysteria

    • Why constant AI reliance weakens critical thinking

    • Deepfakes & scams: implement a family CODE WORD

    • The Read • Pray • Plan framework for busy parents

    • Practical boundaries: attention stewardship > algorithm drift
