  • Understanding Salvation
    Feb 6 2026

What do Christians actually mean when they talk about salvation?

In this episode of Faith Explained, we move beyond the idea that salvation is only about going to heaven when you die. While trusting in the name of Jesus truly is the beginning of salvation, the Christian story does not end there.

This episode explores salvation as healing before heaven—God restoring what sin has distorted, re-humanizing people made in His image, and inviting them into a transformed way of life now. We look at how Scripture speaks of salvation in the past, present, and future tense, why Jesus preached the Kingdom rather than escape, and how grace leads not just to forgiveness, but to real change.

This conversation is for anyone who has reduced salvation to a moment, struggled to see its relevance in daily life, or sensed that the gospel promises more than afterlife assurance alone.

  • Understanding the Gospels and Acts
    Jan 30 2026

Why are there four Gospels—and why don’t they all tell the story of Jesus the same way?

In this episode of Faith Explained, we explore the background, intent, and theological purpose behind each of the Gospel accounts—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—as well as the book of Acts. Rather than flattening them into four interchangeable biographies, this episode shows how each Gospel offers a distinct portrait of Jesus shaped by audience, historical context, and theological focus.

We’ll look at why Matthew emphasizes fulfillment and Torah, why Mark centers the suffering Messiah, why Luke highlights compassion and inclusion, why John presses deeply into Jesus’ divine identity, and how Acts continues the story through the work of the Holy Spirit and the early Church.

This episode is for anyone who has wondered why the Gospels feel different, how to read them faithfully, and how their diversity actually strengthens Christian theology rather than weakening it.
