To me, the best biographies out there focus on moments. The moments big and small that mattered to a person, and that stayed with them through the years. On that count, maybe apart from Paul Auster's 'Winter Journal', it doesn't get any better than this. The music as an additional means of expression made this one quite special. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
