Today, we have our first guest. Erick Allen, aka, E.A. joins Stephen and I on this episode to discuss a multitude of things. He specializes in addiction recovery, having battled it himself, published a book, and served many people.
We start things off by joking around each other as we perform introductions.
From there, a short discussion on plant-based alternatives for food and new diet trends. We transition from diet and mindset into how mindset plays a role in addiction and recovery. Tackling the difficult conversation of alcoholism, we discuss our different encounters, theories, and views on it. In addition to that, we debate the importance and reliability of statistics.
Stephen goes off on a little tangent that poses interesting questions regarding companies pushing for certain statistics, political agendas, and other goals.
