Dr. Anthony Silard is an Author, Professor of Leadership the Director of the Center for Sustainable Leadership at Luiss Business School in Rome, Non-Profit Founder, RPCV Kenya

Have you ever walked into the gym, workplace, or your sport with a not so positive attitude? It kinda sucks and dragged along the day right?

So I just chat about the importance of having a little pocket of positivity when the days, hobbies, or sport gets challenging.

I speak briefly about wrestling legend Dan Gable and his almost perfect college wrestling career. It was perfect until the very last match.

This defeat didn't beat him down, just lit a fuel to his future success as an olympic champion and legendary wrestling coach.

I hope you stay positive when things get tough, the best of the best always have a good outlook on life!

Cool...now that I have your attention, I was fortunate enough to chat with Martin Hablesreiter is one half of the Austrian art duo "Honey & Bunny" who is also an architect, researcher, director, author, etc. Just overall creative human.

We chat about many things, from growing up in Austria, studying architecture and design, working in Japan, researching and answering questions like why foods hold a certain shape, why a table is a certain height, why we use fork and knife when eating, etc.

This lead to many different opportunities like hosting art exhibits, art performances, photography, videos, writing books and much more!

We talk about the importance of designers and their roles in creating habits and desires. As well as the importance of storytelling & creating interesting + engaging narratives.

The discussion also touches on community, breaking the rules, the different food systems, goals of design, provocation & allowing people to think differently about something, the interactive power of food to spark discussion, the importance of home, as well as creating an openness in the design world that engages all continents and peoples.

I talk about an effort and how people see and appreciate the time and effort you put into something.

Just because there is a lot of something, doesn't necessarily mean it is good. I use the SpongeBob vs King Neptune Cook off as a reference to AI (mass quantities of slop) and the master of the craft (slow intentional creators... SpongeBob in this case, making one singular burger that actually tastes good).

I'm also seeing a cultural shift towards analog tech like CD players and iPods, how the younger generations are tired of tech & just want to touch grass.
