Come with me to New York Bridal Fashion Week.

In this episode of Dinner for Shoes The Scene, I’m taking you behind the scenes at New York Bridal Fashion Week — from major runway returns to intimate showroom previews — for a full insider look at the designers, dresses, and moments defining bridal fashion right now.

We start at Hayley Paige’s highly anticipated runway show (her first NYBFW appearance since 2019), then head to the KYHA Studios Chroma Spring 2027 presentation. The next day, I visit PatBO’s NYC studio and showroom for an exclusive preview, before catching the Jenny Yoo runway show. We wrap the week at Amsale, where I get intimate with the creative team and get a closer look at the craftsmanship behind the gowns.

Expect bridal trends, designer insights, behind-the-scenes moments, and a real look at what it’s like to experience Bridal Fashion Week in New York City.

If you’re into wedding dresses, fashion week, or just love being on the scene, this one’s for you.

Subscribe to Dinner for Shoes for more on-the-scene episodes, behind-the-scenes access, and real conversations about style, identity, and the industry.

  • Designer Haley J. on Dressing Like the Main Character and Ignoring Fashion Rules | Dinner for Shoes
    Apr 7 2026

This week on fashion podcast Dinner for Shoes, I’m joined by designer Haley Emerson, founder of Haley J., the bold, color-driven brand known for its signature pink-and-orange palette and unapologetically glamorous silhouettes.

After working in fashion houses in London and New York, Haley launched her namesake label to bring runway-level drama into real life, and she’s never played it safe.

Over pink and orange cupcakes (and of course, shoes on the plate), we talk about what it really means to dress like the main character, why she refused to water down her vision to sell, and the reactions that come with designing pieces that demand attention.

    We also get into:

    • The origin of her now-iconic color palette

    • Who the Haley J. girl is (and who she isn’t)

    • What it really means when you say “I could never pull that off”

    • Her take on minimalism today

If you’ve ever wanted to dress bolder, or just rethink your personal style, this episode is for you.

This episode is also supported by Pointelles, known for thoughtfully-designed shoe inserts that smooth creases and prevent wear over time.
