In 2012, a single mother and her three children were removed from their Gary, Indiana home after state caseworkers, nurses, and police officers filed official reports describing things they couldn't explain, including a 9-year-old boy who allegedly walked backward up a wall to the ceiling in front of multiple witnesses.

Three exorcisms were performed. The Department of Child Services opened a case. The house was eventually purchased by a paranormal investigator and later demolished out of concern for public safety.
