Robert went on a Cruise!!! Now that he's back, he tells Kyle all about the 25hr drive, the wonderful food, and the pushy merchants trying to sell their crazy trinkets. Did Robert get his money's worth out of soft serve and Jello? Did he remember to pack his bathing suit or did he have to borrow some see-thru trunks from his cabin neighbor? Did his room come with the upgraded spy-camera package?! Tune in to find out! As always, we appreciate everyone for listening.

For October, Robert and Kyle continue their on-going discussion on Great Dad Topics. Our hope is to inspire other parents to model healthy behavior as they raise awesome kids. Many of these topics were drawn from a selection of e-mails received through 'The Daily Dad' mailing list, hosted by author Ryan Holiday. The Topics this week:

• Topic 1: You’re Going to Wish You Took This Seriously
• Topic 2: You’re Going to Need Slack (Do You Have It?)
• Topic 3: Who Are You?
• Topic 4: Make Sure They Have Their Time
• Topic 5: They Just Wanna Be Loved
• Topic 6: They’re Just Tired
• Topic 7: These Are the Three Most Beautiful Words
• Topic 8: This Is How You Get Them To Read
• Topic 9: If Anything, You Should Be Slowing Down
• Topic 10: They'll Get Acceptance Elsewhere If They Don't Get It From You

As always, if you have other parenting topics worthy of discussion, please email us at DeepHopics@gmail.com with suggestions. Thanks for listening!

For September, Robert and Kyle breakdown the 80s sports extravaganza that nobody asked for - Over the Top! Starring Sylvester Stallone, a bunch of (professional?) arm wrestlers, and Robert Loggia for some reason? Lincoln Hawk (Stallone) is a truck driver by day, arm wrestling phenom by night, all while being a fulltime dead-beat dad. Hawk heads on a cross-country trip with his 12yr old son Mike in an attempt to bond and mend their relationship after being absent for over a decade. Hawk teaches Mike the rules of the road as they gear up for the Arm-Wrestling Championship in Las Vegas. Is the Grand Prize $100k or Legal Custody of his kid? Who knows? Tune in to hear us recap this absurd 80s classic! As always, thanks for listening!
