Tina leads this episode as we travel back to 1930's Arizona for one of the strangest murder cases we’ve covered yet.

When 15-year-old Mattie Turley shot her father, Ernest, she initially claimed it was an accident. But investigators soon learned there was much more to the story.

According to Mattie, her mother, Dorothea, had been consulting a Ouija board, and the board had delivered a chilling command: Daddy must die.

What followed was a sensational trial involving alleged affairs, family secrets, questions about manipulation, and a murder supposedly ordered from beyond the grave.

Was Mattie truly following instructions from a Ouija board? Was Dorothea using it to influence her daughter? Or was something else happening inside the Turley home?

Join us as we dive into the bizarre true story known as The Ouija Board Murder.

Sarah leads the second episode of our Spooktacular as we travel back to 1897 West Virginia for the case often called “the only murder ever solved by a ghost.”

When 23-year-old Zona Heaster Shue was found dead inside her home, her death was initially believed to be natural. But Zona’s mother, Mary Jane Heaster, refused to accept that explanation.

She claimed Zona returned to her from beyond the grave and revealed exactly how she had died—and who had killed her.

That extraordinary story led to Zona’s body being exhumed, a shocking discovery, and ultimately a murder trial against her husband, Erasmus “Edward” Shue.

Was it really a ghost who helped solve Zona’s murder?

Join us as we dive into the chilling true story of The Greenbrier Ghost.
