This is a story about my experience attending a music festival by myself. I realized volunteering at music festivals is the perfect way to make new friends as a solo nomadic female.

This episode covers how I made new soulmate friendships, practiced setting boundaries in different situations, and much more. The title says it all. A homeless man gives me money the day of this episode. Which brings about huge realizations to a 23 year old midwestern girl who’s just starting to explore the world. Some of which may seem like a no brainer to folks in certain parts of the world, but shook me awake, being someone who’s had little exposure to large homeless populations. These realizations made me notice the areas where I was holding judgements unconsciously. This experience opens my mind deeply and brings awareness to my own greed. After the story-time, I give an update on my journey of meeting people and exploring new towns. I start to get exhausted from treating my new lifestyle as a vacation and realize I need to take time to nourish myself as well.

I did it. I moved away from everything I’ve ever known. I made the leap on a dream I’ve had in my heart for a while. I feel happy and excited overall, but in this episode I show the real side of being absolutely terrified. I cry often. I talk about navigating going to events solo and the epiphanies I had after doing so. And being fearful of what it’s going to be like truly on my own, after the friends I came to visit return home. Also, it’s me embracing the almighty sloth as my new spirit guide. Travel is not all sunshine and rainbows. Sometimes it’s crawling on the floor of your van bawling your eyes out in terror and heart ache :)

Life is getting fancy here in the van abode: I installed a kitchenette and hooked up my ceiling fan. With a working sink now, I feel unstoppable. Travel plans I made fell through due to more unforeseen, unfortunate, outta-my-control circumstances. So now I question what the universe even wants me to do anymore & come up with ideas on what to do instead.

I sit in ceremony with different plant medicines two weekends in a row. The most recent being a sound ceremony involving magic mushrooms and MDMA. After releasing deep, heavy bodily trauma the weekend before, this ceremony was a powerful experience of finding the little girl in my body who was hiding behind it all. I talk about reconnecting with this deeply lost part of myself and fully connecting with my yoni (p*ssy) and the mother energy of p*ssy as a spirit.

I get really bored inside of my vehicle, talk about my rough van set up that makes me feel homeless on occasion, and have a full blown ego trip thinking I’m better than where I grew up.
