The Blues Brothers are back! Well, at least one of them is. But this time, there’s a kid! And everyone else is old!

This week, Justin and Steve put on their dark shades and sunglasses to cover 1998’s BLUES BROTHERS 2000. But it wouldn’t be a true Blues Brothers episode unless we put the band back together, so this week the boys are joined by musician (and Steve’s actual former bandmate) Stephen Weinheimer.

The boys go on a mission from Quigley to try their best to understand one of the most misguided and unnecessary sequels of all time-a love letter to boomer culture that is also somehow supposed to appeal to the kids of the late ’90s. The results are more awkward than a 50-year-old Dan Aykroyd trying to dance.

Today, the original Nokia cell phone is more of a fable than a product, but back in 2003, the cell phone market wasn’t yet dominated by a black rectangle, and ingenuity was everywhere.

Which is why the former pulp manufacturer Nokia launched the N-Gage, a cellphone/gaming-device combo, in an effort to take down a little-known company called Nintendo.

And since you’ve probably owned a Game Boy or DS at some point in your life and have never heard of the N-Gage, you probably know who came out on top.

BUT! If you were one of the few who got this for Christmas instead of a Game Boy Advance, you probably know that it had impressive graphics and a killer game selection.

It’s just too bad that pretty much every other aspect of it sucked.

Once again, we’ve got more cops, more rock, and more Randy Newman sweating his butt off while playing the piano. It’s Cop Rock Episode 6 - Oil of Ol’Lay.

This may be Justin and Steve’s sixth Cop Rock assignment, but this time the chief is sticking them with a new partner and resident musical expert, Ellen Gutoskey. She’s here to help the boys understand how musical logic works and conduct a full investigation into whether those rules hold up in the world of Cop Rock.

Ellen is in for one hell of a ride-along as the sixth installment of Steven Bochco’s hard-edged cop show/musical delivers some of its most outlandish musical numbers yet, and quite possibly the cringiest scene in the entire series. Giddy up.

Did you know that Coca-Cola once changed the flavor of Coke and called it New Coke? Well, if you were a red-blooded American soda drinker in the mid-1980s, you definitely knew about it, and you were most likely very angry that it happened.

This week, Justin and Steve go on a globe-trotting soda taste test while exploring one of the weirdest corporate decisions ever made in an effort to fix a problem that didn't exist. It was a misguided move that almost brought down the most popular soft drink of all time. Will they find answers? Probably. Will they get tummy aches? Definitely.

IT'S SEQUEL SUMMER!! And we're kicking it off with a sequel to Steven Spielberg's generation-defining hit, JAWS. It's JAWS 3-D! That's right! The shark is back. Or it's a new shark... we're not sure. Either way, it's here with a boatload of cheap '80s 3-D thrills designed to make you scream but more likely to leave you laughing.

Justin and Steve put on their wetsuits to explore the deepest reaches of this almost totally forgotten sequel, one so bad that the people who made the abysmal JAWS: THE REVENGE decided to ignore it completely.

This one is as dumb as it gets, but it's also a lot of fun if you're into Oktoberfest-themed water-ski shows and silly, cheap thrills.

And remember, the third dimension is TERROR! (It's actually depth.)

Nukie is on vacation this week, so Justin and Steve are doing something a little different.

Instead of the boys taking a deep dive into a DISASTERPIECE, they're letting you take a deep dive into them!

It's the first AN EVENING WITH JUSTIN & STEVE. The boys will interview each other about their own personal artistic disasters, disappointing childhood toys, calamitous family vacations, and whatever else they feel like talking about.

Yup yup!! Disasterpiece is in full effect this week as Justin and Steve breakdance and break down Vanilla Ice’s 1991 star vehicle, Cool as Ice.

This steamless riff on Romeo and Juliet is a soggy mess that didn’t do Vanilla Ice, or anyone involved, any favors. But just like how the movie’s charmless lead is able to steal a nice girl away from her boyfriend, this film somehow landed the Academy Award-winning cinematographer of Schindler’s List (and almost every Spielberg movie that followed). So even at its lowest lows, Cool as Ice looks like a million bucks.

So sit back, relax, say word to your mother, and get ready to know more than anyone ever should about Vanilla Ice. And if you’re lucky, you might even find out what a Roni is.

The boys are back with another episode of Steven Bochco's Cop Rock. If you're reading this, you know the deal: it's a gritty '90s cop show that also happens to be a musical. Like, a real musical.

There isn't much else to say at this point, except that Justin and Steve were very happy to discover that Cop Rock Episode 5, "The Cocaine Mutiny," guest-stars Gina Gershon.
