Eudy Simelane was a South African football star, famous for being an amazing football player but also famous for being an openly gay woman in South Africa.

Tragically, women being attracted to other women is more than some men can handle and these men take it upon themselves to "fix" gay women/men/trans people using "corrective rape".

Eudy Simelane was a victim of corrective gang rape and she didn't survive her attack, like many others targeted both in South Africa and around the world.

Corrective rape is a despicable crime that currently is not classed as a hate crime in South Africa but there is a petition to change this -

When 12 year old Sian Kingi left her mum to ride her bike home, her mum expected Sian to beat her to the house but Sian wasn't there when she got back and she didn't show up at any point that evening.

As police got involved and asked the public for help, reports of a dirty white station wagon in the area where Sian was last seen came flooding in and thanks to some brilliant police work, the owners and one of the most vile couples ever, Barry Watts and Valmae Beck, were traced across Australia and brought in for questioning.

20 year old Sophie Lionnet had always dreamed of working with children, so when she got a job as an au pair she was thrilled. Not to mention, the job was in London and, as Sophie was French, this meant she'd get to work on her English.

The family were Ouissem Medouni, Sabrina Kouider and Sabrina's two children and Sophie loved taking care of the children. Eventually though, something terrible would happen and, thanks to a neighbour with a keen sense of smell, the culprit wouldn't be getting away with it.

In this week's listener request episode, we go to Annesley Woodhouse as Billie tells us of a bizarre set of circumstances that led to a double manhunt in a quiet village.

Robert Boyer and Keith Frogson, aka Froggy, had both previously worked in the coal mine in Annesley Woodhouse and lived only meters away from one another but one day, a tragic circumstance would lead one of them to take the other's life.

Meanwhile, Terry Rodgers, a violent woman-hater, had split from his wife. His newly married daughter offered him a place to stay and he set out to seek revenge on his estranged wife in the cruelest of manners.

These two cases would collide and lead to an enormous double manhunt.

When a friend sent Brenda Lin a news article on Facebook with her house as the picture, Brenda couldn't comprehend what the story was saying. 

Brenda was just 15 years old and overseas on a school trip when she found out that her parents, brothers and auntie were all dead.
