In this episode I talk all about the pressures of running an art business, whether that's keeping up with your competition, the pressure to post on social media or joining in with Black Friday sales. I also talk about why it's good to sometimes put the pressure on and when it's important to take it off. This comes from my experience in November where it all got too much and I had to press pause on marketing my art business (whilst quietly putting equal pressure on myself to complete commissions!). I hope this episode helps anyone who finds themselves feeling in a state of pressure at any time in their art business.

I'm so excited to talk all about fine art prints and the journey I have taken over the last four years, from incredible FLOPS and incredible triumphs which led me to put all of my experience into a downloadable print guide.

In this episode I talk about my first set of prints that did okay, the second set of prints that flopped so spectacularly that they ended up in the bin and subsequent print drops with mixed results. I discuss my experience with getting digital files made, printing at home and using a professional service. Off the back of my first curated art fair, I wanted to talk openly and honestly about my experience. I talk about the difference between art fairs and trade fairs, the price of original pieces and a new lesson I learnt in selling prints in person. Maybe it was too honest.. but I'm here to be authentic and transparent about the realities of building an art business!
