Über diesen Titel
Welcome to another edition of Soul Stories on Brazen Radio fam. So happy to have ya'll here. Today we sit down with Connie. This human and her entire family was led on a wild life goose chase by her father who always wanted a better life. At age 11, a better life for her family was immigrating to the Portuguese colonies of Africa. Though they arrived in 73’ it wasn’t long until the revolution from Socialism to Democracy in Portugal happened, and quickly after came the independence of Angola Mozambique, Cape Verde, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Senegal and Sao Tome & Principe. This was all good until they began fighting again, but now, amongst themselves. While this all unfurled Connie and her family lived there, and as it got worse, so did the risk of every day tasks like sleeping, getting food, supplies, and travelling. This episode is her experience and I was rather astonished tbh. Absolute rock solid human, bonus she’s a woman. Her story and that of her family is unlike anything I’ve ever heard. And that’s why Soul Stories exist in the first place. So my friends, please enjoy today's episode with Connie. <3If you have a soul story or know someone who does - please reach out or make the connection brazenradio@gmail.com https://www.instagram.com/thebrazenradio/
