"...it does come back to awareness and acknowledging that eating disorders are experienced by all people..."

Did you know that the prevalence of eating disorders increases at 45-years old? Many think that eating disorders are only experienced by younger people. In this episode Dr Lauren Bruce, Manager of Education and Research at Eating Disorders Victoria, explains the reasons why eating disorders are so common in the midlife, the unique risk factors that women face and what the warning signs are.

Join us for this episode and the rest of the season as we explore eating disorders during perimenopause, menopause and the midlife and continue the conversation with Butterfly Foundation, Eating Disorders Victoria, those with lived experience and more.
