Have you ever prayed for one thing and received something entirely different?

You prayed for a door to open.

It closed.

You prayed for healing.

The struggle continued.

You prayed for clarity.

The path remained uncertain.

You prayed for a miracle.

And heaven seemed silent.

In those moments, many people wonder:

Have you ever planted a seed?

At first it seems insignificant.

Tiny.

Fragile.

Almost invisible.

Yet hidden within that little seed is the potential for something extraordinary.

Storms come in many forms.

Sometimes they arrive as a medical diagnosis.

Who is your neighbor?

Would they still be your neighbor?

Two thousand years ago, someone asked Jesus exactly that question.

The story of the Good Samaritan.

And hidden inside that story is a truth that can transform our families, our communities, and our world.

"Lord, where are You leading me?"

Most of us would.

Spiritually.

Emotionally.

Internally.

A smile.

A phone call.

A prayer.

A helping hand.

Most of us can remember such a moment.

And today Jesus reminds us that these small acts of love are often the way God changes the world.
