If you’ve ever felt worn out trying to do “Christian things” while still feeling unsure of who you are, Romans 1:1–7 puts the pieces back in the right order. We start a slow, verse-by-verse walk through the Book of Romans and land on a simple framework that hits hard: called, set apart, and assigned. Not as a motivational poster, but as a gospel pattern that restores clarity, confidence, and direction.
We talk about why Paul leads with identity before activity, and why reversing that order creates burnout, pride, or a split life where we act one way in church and another way everywhere else. We also dig into the center of the Christian faith: the good news is about Jesus Christ, promised through Scripture, born in David’s line, and declared the Son of God by the resurrection. That reality demands more than admiration, it calls for lordship, obedience, and a prayer life that is a real relationship, not a crisis hotline.
From there, we make it personal: “you are included.” Loved then called. Belonging then becoming. We unpack holiness as consecration, not isolation, and why being set apart should show up in integrity, priorities, and how we treat people who disagree with us or live differently than we do. Your assignment might be a pulpit, a kitchen table, a camera, a jobsite, or a difficult coworker, but it always carries gospel content: what God has done, so others can believe and obey.
If you’re ready to rebuild your foundation and find your next faithful step, press play, then share this with a friend and leave a review so more people can find it. What part of your life needs to move from activity back to identity?
