Rhett Miller co-founded the Old 97's in 1992 and the band has retained all of their original members since then. Considered by many as pioneers of the Alt-Country movement, today their music has elements of Americana, Indie Rock, and Power Pop. Throughout the years they've recorded over 20 projects with 7 singles landing on the adult album alternative charts. They were honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2025 Americana Music Honors & Awards ceremony. Rhett shares with multi-award winning program director Ray White, the latest happenings with the band including insights on their American Primitive release and also touches on his solo albums including his latest - A Lifetime Of Riding By Night.
