Good morning. Our prayer today is for Wisdom in Workplace Decisions

Let us pray:

Lord, as I enter into another week of work, I bring to you every decision, big and small, that lies ahead. I confess that I sometimes feel overwhelmed by the choices and responsibilities before me.

Grant me your wisdom that surpasses human understanding. Help me to listen well, to discern what is best, and to act with integrity and courage even when it feels risky.

Remind me to pause before I speak or act, seeking your guidance above all. Guard my heart from fear of making mistakes, and let your peace rule in my heart and mind, and in every meeting and conversation.

May my decisions bless others and honor you. Grant me greater wholeness.

Fill me with confidence that you are with me, and guide my decision-making and my steps. Amen.

Today, we continue our prayer focus on “What I’d Quit Today If I Wanted to Be Happier?”

In our first week, we talked about quitting the habit of instantly reacting to bad news with worst-case scenarios.

Last week, we focused on letting go of regret and the weight of what could have been.

Today, we are letting go of other people’s opinions.

Friend of God, one of the biggest barriers to greater joy and freedom is worrying, “What if they don’t like me?” or “What if they talk about me?” or “Do they think I am good enough to do that job?”

This is your day to release the need for human approval.

You are made in the image of God, wonderfully and fearfully made.

Only God validates your calling and purpose—He alone breathed life into you.

Let’s pray.

Lord, I come to you and surrender my need for approval and affirmation from others.

Set me free from fear of rejection, gossip, or misunderstanding.

Remind me again that I am your beloved, chosen, and accepted.

Help me to root my identity in your love, not in shifting opinions or expectations of others.

Give me courage to follow your calling, even if it means standing alone. Teach me to bless those who misunderstand me, and to walk in confidence and kindness.

Holy Spirit, let your voice be louder in my life than any other.

Fill me today with joy, hope, and steadfast assurance that you are pleased with me. Amen.

Good morning. Today, our prayer is about challenges at work, our relationship with our boss, company policies, and anything else that may rub us the wrong way.

Let us pray,

Jesus, I need your help. My work is difficult right now because of people, policies, and the person in charge.

Lord, I humbly and honestly lift up my relationships at work and my relationship with work.

You see the pressures, criticisms, and challenges I face. When expectations feel unfair or words sting, protect my heart from bitterness and resentment.

Help me to respect the authority of their position, even when their actions are difficult to understand or accept.

Fill me with grace under pressure, integrity in conflict, and patience when it’s hard to respond with kindness.

Remind me that my value and identity are rooted in you alone, not in another person’s approval or acceptance or in my job performance this past quarter or year.

Grant me wisdom to set healthy boundaries, courage to handle tough conversations, and discernment to know when to speak and when to remain silent.

I ask for your peace to cover tense moments and for your favor to soften hearts and change environments.

Let my work reflect your excellence, and may I find peace in knowing you see and care for every detail.
