Warren Buffett is stepping down as chairman of Berkshire Hathaway to be replaced by his son Howard, and will become chairman emeritus of the company. Buffett will remain a member of the board, and his son, a director of the company since 1993, will step into the top role, responsible for the company's culture and values. The move is the latest stage in the succession process at the company, following Greg Abel's replacement of Buffett as chief executive officer earlier this year.
