Kentucky baseball couldn't script a more up and down way to begin the season. Go on the road and sweep UNC Greeensboro, great. Lose stud Tyler Bell to indefinitely to a shoulder injury one game in, not great. That just plain sucks. Now they have to go about the business of the home opener v Morehead State and beyond without him.

Coach Lawson and the softball team have already had an up and down start to their season too. Vinny and Cole talked about this and finished up the episode with a little more UK basketball.

There are no moral victories. Ever. That said, Kentucky didn't get blown out at Florida. They could have, because they were on the verge. Turnovers in the first half were their undoing, as they led to lots of Florida points. Their bigs do what they do, but letting their guards go off too was just too much to overcome.

Georgia is limping into Lexington. The Cats need to be aggressive and take their will right off the bat.

Trent Noah and Teonni Key are playing different roles and in different situations for their respective teams. Both players had nice games in Kentucky's wins over Arkansas in men's and women's basketball.

Trent hadn't played much this season. Teonni was fresh off of an injury. If you go back and watch both games you can see their impact in the wins. Fun to see. Fayetteville was just what the doctor ordered for both teams.
